‘Venture Bros.’ Season 5 Premiere Date Announced

The Venture Bros. will be back for a fifth season of “globe-trotting adventure and stay-at-home suspense” on Sunday, June 2nd at Midnight ET/PT, Adult Swim announced Thursday (May 9th). The special one hour premiere will pick up just moments after the end of season four.

Lucky fans who reside in Austin, Denver, Houston, Kansas City or San Antonio have the opportunity to catch the premiere on the big screen ahead of its television debut. On Tuesday, May 28th, Adult Swim will hold special screenings of the season four finale followed by the season five premiere at multiple Alamo Drafthouse locations. There will also be a screening at the Nitehawk Cinema in Brooklyn, New York on Wednesday, May 29th.

Season five is set to take the Venture family to a wide array of new exotic locales including Central America, Tangier and the Greek Islands. In addition to the usual adventuring, this season will also boast an impressive guest cast. Aziz Ansari (Parks and Recreation), Paget Brewster (Criminal Minds), Wyatt Cenac (The Daily Show), Kevin Conroy (Batman Beyond), Bill Hader (Superbad), John Hodgman (The Daily Show), Gillian Jacobs (Community), Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live), Tim Meadows (Mean Girls), J.K. Simmons (Juno), and Brendon Small (Metalocalypse) are all set to lend their voices to the animated series.

Again, The Venture Bros. season five will premiere Sunday, June 2nd at Midnight ET/PT on Adult Swim.
