Seth MacFarlane To Guest On ‘The Simpsons’

‘Family Guy’ creator and voice actor Seth MacFarlane will star in an episode of The Simpsons for the first time. MacFarlane will take on the role of a charmer by the name of Ben who woos Marge with his love for shows similar to ‘Downton Abbey’. The two inadvertently meet on a swingers’ website that Marge first thought was a Dolly Madison-type cupcake site. MacFarlane’s Ben is a married man as well with comic Lisa Lampanelli on board to voice the role. MacFarlane will turn up in ‘The Simpsons’ season finale that is scheduled to air on Sunday, May 19 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT).

MacFarlane is best known for voicing hundreds of roles in Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show’. The recent host of the 85th Academy Awards and is currently working on ‘A Million Ways ‘To Die In The West’ and the rumored ‘Hellboy 3′, followed by ‘Ted 2’.

MacFarlane joins this season’s guest stars that include the Icelandic band Sigur Ros, Ed Norton (The Hulk), Justin Bieber, Portlandia cast members Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, as well as Patton Oswalt (King of Queens), and more.
