Russell T. Davies’ Hit Series ‘Wizards vs Aliens’ Set To Make Its American Debut On The Hub

Former Doctor Who showrunner Russell T. Davies’ latest project Wizards vs Aliens is coming to the States. The Hub announced today that they will begin airing the acclaimed children’s series with a two-part premiere on Saturday, June 1 at 7PM.

Wizards vs. Aliens stars Scott Haran (Upstairs Downstairs) and Percelle Ascott (Mandem on the Wall) as best friends Tom Clarke and Benny Sherwood. The series kicks off with Tom discovering that he’s a wizard. Once he confides in Benny, the duo “embark on a dark crusade to save the world against Nekross, an alien race determined to drain the world of magic.”

In addition to Haran and Ascott, the series also stars Annette Badland (Doctor Who), Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones), Michael Higgs (EastEnders), Jefferson Hall (Vikings), Tim Rose (Star Wars), Brian Blessed (Star Wars) and Dan Starkey (Doctor Who).

Once again, the two-part premiere will air Saturday, June 1st at 7PM on The Hub. Following the premiere, new episodes will air on Saturdays at 7:30PM ET.
