‘True Blood’ Season 6 Premiere Date Announced

The hit vampire series True Blood has received an official premiere date for season six. The HBO show will bow on Sunday, June 16 at 9 p.m. The new season of the series will include ten episodes, following the main character Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin).

As far as what fans can expect from season 6, creator Alan Ball dropped a few hints a while back about what’s to come for the series’ residents, specifically regarding the transformation of Bill, while talking to TV Line. “Who’s to say what Lilith really is? He is still Bill but he is something different. It is Bill, but it is a transformed Bill. He is not a completely new person. It’s not like his memories or his experiences have been left out and he’s just a baby. Is he going to be evil? What does he want? What is he going to do? Will he be able to revert back to Bill? That’s for future seasons. The implication, certainly, is that he is more ferocious.”

Ball also dished that Warlow will also get plenty of screen time in the sixth season and that fans shouldn’t expect a fairytale ending for Tara and Pam. Sounds like they’ll be plenty of twists and turns in the upcoming season!
