This episode had plenty of Tess, and I think that was great, as she’s just as interesting of a character to me as Cat, and her relationship with Cat is actually the crux of the show instead of the typical way of just focusing on the female lead’s relationships with men. One great scene was when Tess and Vincent were talking to each other, each showing some of the strengths/vulnerabilities of their characters so well…then I liked how that tied into/foreshadowed the tunnel scene later when Vincent rescues Tess – that was such a great scene. I also loved how during that part they just played one song that whole time, it really added to the tension and built the suspense, plus I love the song they chose, “New Tricks” by Great Northern.
