Big Love’s Chloe Sevigny has been tapped to appear in a multi-episode arc on the Fox comedy The Mindy Project, TV Line has shared. Sevigny is on board to portray the ex-wife of actor Chris Messina’s character Danny. The actress will appear in a reported three episode run as Christine.
Her character is a big shot war photographer who has previously been involved with a string of intimidating men to Danny’s distaste. Christine will be back in town in the hopes of sharing a romantic dinner with Danny but the pair’s plans are unexpectedly foiled.
Chloe Sevigny comes to ‘The Mindy Project’ off the heels of a recent guest stint in both the quirky comedy ‘Portlandia’ and FX’s ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’. She will also appear in the forthcoming film “Lovelace’ based on adult star Linda Lovelace and ‘Doll & Em’. Sevigny’s past acting credits include 2000’s ‘American Psycho’, ‘Boy’s Don’t Cry’, ‘Zodiac’, ‘Barry Munday’, ‘The Killing Room’, ‘Hot & Miss’, ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ and ‘Mr. Nice’.
