Fox Renews ‘New Girl’, ‘The Mindy Project’ And ‘Raising Hope’ March 5, 2013 New Girl, News, Raising Hope, The Mindy Project Fox has renewed all three of their hit comedies – New Girl, The Mindy Project and Raising Hope. Chairman Kevin Reilly of Fox Broadcasting broke the news. “We love working with these talented producers and casts who, week after week, create some of the funniest work on television. These shows are creatively vibrant, they have established a loyal and passionate audience and they will continue to define and grow the FOX comedy brand next season and beyond.” The pick-up brings ‘New Girl’ Zooey Deschanel and her roommates into a third season on the network. The series comes from creator by Liz Meriwether. Mindy Kaling’s comedy series is entering into its second season with ‘Raising Hope’, the longest running series out of the trio from creator Greg Garcia, entering into its fourth season on Fox. Fox’s decision to renew all three is due to successful ratings. ‘New Girl’ is currently staying steady as the No. 1 ranked comedy among women (18-34 years old) alongside the freshman series ‘The Mindy Project’.
