ABC’s ‘Happy Endings’ Gets Pushed To Fridays

The ABC Network has decided to push its comedy series Happy Endings to Fridays, TV Line revealed. Normally airing on Tuesdays, the network announced the switch this past Wednesday.

The series will begin airing in its new timeslot on March 29. ‘Happy Endings’ will be taking over for both series ‘Last Man Standing’ and ‘Malibu County’. ABC’s Tuesday night line-up will then feature both Celebrity Wife Swap’, set to air at 8/7c, with ‘The Taste’ scheduled to air at 9/8c. While it is unclear why ABC made the swap, fans seem happy just to know that the series will be sticking around until the end of the season.

The show, from creator David Caspe, follows the hilarious and strange adventures of six best friends through their break-ups and break downs. The show is set against the backdrop of Chicago. The cast line-up includes actors Eliza Coupe (Scrubs), Elisha Cuthbert (House of Wax), Zachary Knighton (The Prince and Me), Adam Pally (Taking Woodstock), Damon Wayans, Jr. (The Other Guys) and Casey Wilson (The Guilt Trip).

Is this the end for the comedy series? Let us know what you think of ABC’s decision to push Happy Endings to Friday nights?
