American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy has revealed the news that actress Lily Rabe is set to appear in season three of the FX series, TV Line has confirmed. Murphy made the announcement by way of Twitter with a short message to fans of the show. Lily Rabe “is on board for American Horror Story Season 3,” he said. Adding, “So talented. Love her!”
Rabe will stick around for another season that also boasts actresses Lange and Sarah Pauslon. Together the trio will move into season three in the role of new characters. As shared by Murphy, the upcoming year will also play out “more historical in nature.”
Season three will also feature a “different tone” than the current second season that is now airing on FX, Murphy stated when it came to what fans can expect. ‘American Horror Story’ is slated to take place in modern times in the new year, but just like past seasons, we will see different “time periods” and “there [will] also be different cities.”
Prior to her stint on ‘American Horror Story’, Rabe has starred in the productions of ‘All Good Things’, ‘No Reservations’, ‘What Just Happened’, ‘The Good Wife’, ‘Weakness’, ‘Nip/Tuck’ and ‘Mona Lisa Smile’.
