This week’s episode of The Biggest Loser kicked off with (another) twist. The contestants entered the gym to find their week 1 pictures on a rotating die. At the end of the week, the die would roll and the team’s fate would land on the shoulders of the player whose image appeared when the die stopped rolling.
As the adults grappled with the ramifications of the twist, the kids organized community outreach activities aimed at making fitness fun. Sunny took charge of an exercise circuit, Bingo set out to get more participation in after school sports and Lindsay would deliver a speech to her school about bullying. The kids have been a great addition to this season.
The die continued to haunt the players as they headed into the weekly challenge. TA roll of the die would determine not only who would represent their team at the weigh-in, it would also determine which team member would participate in the challenge. Poor Danni can’t catch a break as the only remaining member of the white team. Fortunately for Danni, she emerged the winner in this week’s balance beam, swinging obstacle challenge.
Jeff proved to be the sorest loser on this week’s episode of The Biggest Loser, as he told Danni to enjoy her letters while he focused on the weigh-in. Build a bridge and get over it, Jeff.
After a great guest appearance by the beautiful Laila Ali, the contestants headed to the scale for their weigh-in. Joe and Jeff joined Danni on the scale as the representatives for their team. I will not deny that after his post-challenge sour grapes, I was happy to see Jeff fall short. As a result, Bob’s blue team lost their first weigh-in and headed to the elimination room where they sent David home.
The kids are such a nice addition to the show and you can’t go wrong with a cameo appearance by Laila Ali. Here’s hoping Jeff will return next week with a bit of an attitude adjustment. What did you think of this week’s episode of The Biggest Loser? Sound off below!
