‘Entourage’ Movie Announced By Warner Bros

Deadline has confirmed good news for Entourage fans awaiting a feature film. It appears Warner Bros has finally given the green light for a movie about Vinnie and the guys. After bidding farewell back in September 2012 after an eight season run it looks like series creator Doug Ellin will be back to direct the film after finishing up the finally anticipated script.

‘Entourage’ executive producers Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson are also said to be returning to work on the film. As for Adrian Grenier who played lead character Vinnie, he is said to be in talks to reprise his role in the Entourage movie. Actors Kevin Connolly (Eric “E” Murphy), Kevin Dillion (Johnny Drama), Jeremy Piven (Ari Gold) and Jerry Ferrara (Turtle), will also be approached about returning to their roles.

The movie will kick off six months when we last saw the crew. Speaking out about the script, Ellin recently shared some exciting details of what’s to come. “There are interesting developments about Ari as a studio head, and that’s still the first page for me. But foremost is the friendship between the guys who are still hanging out and going to fun parties, and it continues with the same characters.” A filming date has yet to be set.
