TNT’s latest drama, Monday Mornings, is set to give viewers a look at the fallible side of medical professionals by taking them inside the “weekly morbidity and mortality conferences” where every doctor’s performance is judged by their peers. Based on a novel by CNN’s chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, the series is helmed by David E. Kelley (Chicago Hope, The Practice) and stars Alfred Molina (Spider-Man 2), Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica), Jennifer Finnigan (Better With You) and Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction).
TNT has released a trio of promos highlighting the series’ unique take on the traditional medical drama tropes– we’ve all seen hotshot doctors with god complexes before, but this may be the first time we’ve seen them trembling after receiving a summons to Room 311. Are you intrigued by the idea of a medical drama that is so committed to showing a warts and all view of doctors? Check out the promos below and be sure to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
Monday Mornings debuts Monday, February 4th at 10/9c on TNT.
