Fox’s Animation Domination lineup is getting festive this Sunday with all new Christmas-themed episodes of The Cleveland Show, The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy and American Dad.
The Cleveland Show will kick off the evening at 7:30 p.m. with “Tis The Cleveland To Be Sorry,” an episode that will find Cleveland (Mike Henry) pretending to be homeless after discovering that the food at the homeless shelter is tastier than what he gets at home. As an extra holiday treat, special guest star Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) will be on hand to lend his voice to a chauvinistic store owner who requires all of his female Santa’s helpers–including Regina (Reagan Gomez)–to dress provocatively.
The evening will continue at 8:00 p.m. with The Simpsons‘ episode “To Cur With Love.” After throwing out his back helping Grampa (Dan Castellaneta) move back into the Simpsons’ abode, Homer (Castellaneta) becomes distracted by an addictive tablet game and loses the family dog, Santa’s Little Helper.
Then at 8:30 p.m., we’ll be treated to a Belcher family Christmas on Bob’s Burgers. In “God Rest Ye Merry Gentle-Mannequins,” Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) inherits a storage unit and its inhabit, Chet (guest voice Zach Galifianakis), a man with a gift for creating beautiful window displays, who also happens to believe he used to be mannequin.
Family Guy will continue the holiday fun at 9:00 p.m. with Peter’s (Seth MacFarlane) sure to be “special” retelling of The Nativity Story in “Peter, Mary and Joseph!”. Finally, American Dad wraps things up at 9:30 p.m. with “Minstrel Kramps,” an episode that finds a grumpy Steve (Scott Grimes) learning a lesson about the spirit of Christmas from incarcerated Grandpa Jack (guest voice Daran Norris), who recounts his tale of capturing the Christmas demon, Minstrel Kramps (guest voice Danny Glover).
You can check out a special Season’s Greetings promo below, but first here is a sneak peek at some of the things on our favorite animated kids’ wish lists:
Rallo Tubbs of THE CLEVELAND SHOW: “This year for Christmas, I’d like my mom to not cry and talk about her lost childhood. We all got problems, lady.”
Bart Simpson of THE SIMPSONS: “Fewer new episodes of ‘Once Upon A Time.’”
Gene Belcher of BOB’S BURGERS: “I want it all, and I want it now! Sorry, I was just singing my favorite Queen song. What did you ask?”
Stewie Griffin of FAMILY GUY: “Who’s asking? Is it Rupert? Because I don’t want to give him any hints. I want to see what he comes up with. But if it’s Jason from Pilates, I want new
shoes. Size: humongous.”
Roger of AMERICAN DAD: “Time to get in shape. I want a Thigh Master, an Ab Roller and a medicine ball. Uph, I’m over it. Just vodka, all I want is vodka.”
