‘Golden Boy’: Get Your First Look at CBS’s Upcoming Midseason Series

Are you ready to get your first look at CBS’s newest drama Golden Boy? Good, because CBS has released the first image from the upcoming series, and while the photo may not give us any plot details, it does feature TV MVPs Chi McBride (Pushing Daisies) and Kevin Alejandro (True Blood) looking intense in their new roles as veteran Detective Don Owen and tough guy First Grade Detective Christian Arroyo, respectively. Also pictured is series star Theo James (Downton Abbey), whose Walter William Clark, Jr. is destined to become the youngest police commissioner in New York City history.

Golden Boy is told from Walter’s point of view, as he recounts his “meteoric rise” from street kid to police commissioner during an interview about his career. The series comes from executive producers Greg Berlanti (Everwood) and Nicholas Wootten (Chuck), and also stars Bonnie Somerville (Cashmere Mafia) and Holt McCallany (Lights Out).

Golden Boy will debut with two special previews on Tuesday, February 26th (10:00pm ET/PT) and Tuesday, March 5th (10:00pm ET/PT) before moving to its regular time slot Friday, March 8th at 9:00pm ET/PT on CBS.
