‘Covert Affairs’ Beauty Piper Perabo to Visit NBC Comedy ‘Go On’ December 4, 2012 Go On, News While the USA Network spy drama ‘Covert Affairs’ is waiting for its new season to air sometime next year, lead actress Piper Perabo will be moonlighting on the NBC comedy Go On. According to Deadline, Perabo will have a “high-profile” three-episode arc on the new sitcom, which stars ‘Friends’ alum Matthew Perry as sportscaster Ryan King, who, after the tragic loss of his wife, finds solace from members in his mandatory group therapy sessions. Perabo will play Simone, a former member of the group who returns to therapy and develops a relationship with Ryan; his first since his wife’s untimely death. The cast of ‘Go On’ includes Laura Benanti (Tony Award winner from ‘Gypsy’), Tyler James Williams (‘Everybody Hates Chris’), John Cho (‘FlashForward’), Allison Miller (‘Terra Nova’) and Bill Cobbs (‘The Bodyguard’) [among others]. Among Perabo’s other credits include the box office films ‘Coyote Ugly’, ‘Cheaper By the Dozen’, ‘The Cave’, ‘The Prestige’ ‘Because I Said So’ and ‘Looper’. She also appeared in episodes of ‘House’ and ‘Law & Order: Criminal Intent’ before landing on ‘Covert Affairs’. The next new episode of ‘Go On’ will air tonight December 4 on NBC at 9/8c.
