Hey Mark, you are one first class guy.

  • erin

This is a wonderful boss. I work for the goverment and this is exactly what we need where I work. I’m only speaking of this mans compassion for others not his finacial donations. This is truly a angel. In a world which has lost compassion for others this is what living is all about.

Stephen cloobeck your an amazing man. I have watch the show before and it is always good but i don’t think i have ever been so impressed by the generocity and caring you have shown.

  • Karmo

I admire the way you think and treat your employees. You show leadership in every way. As a military man for 22 years one sees a leader or one who pretends to be a leader. You sir are a leader! One can’t lead unless they care about people. That is the problem we have in business today with lot of managesr who can’t lead because all the worry about is the process and not the people who make it happen for the organization. My son is the Hopitality Business, a graduate of UCF and currently runs a 4mil revenue Restuarant in Orlando and his company does not appreciate the human touch he employs with his team and customers. He would do miracles for you and your company. You deserve to have the best. God will pay your good deeds in more ways than we could imagine. God bless you and your family for being a great human being and truly caring. Diamond Resorts has a bright future.

  • Erica Anderson

Just finished watching Undercover Boss I have cried like a baby, what a blessing this boss is..May God continue to shower your heart and soul.

  • Brenda

Yes Mr.Cloobeck your employees are extreme fortunate to have a boss that deeply cares for them as you have. The world needs more bosses like you ! I grade you a 10

  • Barbie McAdoo

wow this was OUTSTANDING to say the least. It is a wonderful inside feeling to HELP other or just to have the will to and want to. I work for FEMA and the joy that I receive to just exstend a HELPING hand to someone, TO JUST LISTEN is sometime enough but when a person can LISTEN and sew into a person life is a feeling and blessing that know one can give you or hand to you. HATS OFF TO MR. Stephen Cloobeck…………..

  • fredmarchese

fredmarchese you are amazing man I hope some day if i ever have the money to go to one of your resorts that i can. you are one of a kind of a boss .person and a good man i would love to meet you I am so impressed with you

  • Nancy

Mr. Cloobeck, too bad Owners at Diamond Resort are not treated like you treat your employees. Your employees displayed tears of joy with your kindness. I have tears of frustration, of having been lied to and taken advantage of. An employee who is unhappy with working at Diamond has the option of quiting. My contract with Diamond Resorts is beyond my death, since it passes to my heirs. Unlike taxes that end when I die, Diamond will continue sending the bill to my family. My maintenance fee is almost $1300.00 this year and I am sure next year it will even be higher. You truly portrayed an owner of Diamond who cares about his employees. But my question to you Mr. Cloobeck, do you care anything about those of us who would like to terminate our contract with Diamond and you do NOT allow us to.

  • Don

Awesome job Steve. You changed many lives there. Taking care of the employees

  • Shannon

Best episode I’ve seen, his gifts were substantial and generous and truly able to help his employees better their lives which will in turn allow then to help others! Hope other undercover bosses do the same!! Way to go!

  • Jennifer Kranhold

I love Stephen Cloobeck and everything he stands for! It is so inspiring to watch him in action; so happy he came back for round 2! Thank you!

The Best Undercover Boss ever, Amazing a truly example of what a boss should be, Politics should learn from this business owner and the same goes for private companies that only care about making money and is true they are in business to make money but if they care at least 40% of what Stephen J. Cloobeck care for his employees as well as his companies we all we work harder and US companies could be more successful.I worked for a company that the owners treated there employees like nothing and to see this man today I feel so wonderful and believe that there are still ANGELS out there like STEPHEN J. CLOOBECK . GOD BLESS HIM AND HIS FAMILY

  • LLPetty

We are Pacific Monarch Owners and visit Cedar Breaks Lodge every year, staying in the same type of room you were in on Undercover Boss. The lodge has been deteriorating slowly. We look forward to going again next year and seeing the new standards you have promised. We hope someday to take our children and grandchildren to Cabo Azul. You blessed many lives through your efforts on the show today.

I am an owner at Royal Palm Resorts in St.Maarten. Steve you should check this timeshare out we have had nothing but problems there. I bought my mom and dad a surprise ticket there 26 years ago and they felt like this was there second home,my dad would love the fishing and the nice people who cared about you in the Resort. For the past few years this Resort has not Improved at all they just keep raising the mainteance there. My dad past away and it has gotten to expensive for my mom to handle 3 weeks of a place she adores that she will have to walk away from due to money increases for the owners. There has been no renovations that were said going to be done with all the extra money from the fees . It was wonderful to watch you help all of these people on the show but as an owner we would sure hope something could be done.I am trying to save the weeks for my mom but not much of an income to pay for 3 weeks to travel.Airfare from Vegas is very expensive but don’t mind that if we had a break on the SXM fees. There are a lot of good memories there for my mom and family it is just sad that we paid to own and now we r walking away from it.Sure hope something gets done about this. P.S. I went on groupon and you can get it cheaper than if u own. What is that all about?

    Luann from Las Vegas

I was looking forward to watching this show tonight. I was recently at my favorite Monarch, now Diamond, resort. I really enjoyed the show and after watching it had hope that my resorts will get cleaned up a bit.

After the show I got online and googled some information and read all the posts from the January show. It seems there are a lot of unhappy Daimond owners and now I have my concerns.

Sure, its great to give back to the employees, my boss does! But I am concerned at who’s expense? From the Diamond Resort owners comments on the Jan show, it sounds like it could be ours. Sure, that is how you become a billionaire I suppose.

I guess time will tell, we just had our dues raised under Monarch, hoping Diamond might reduce….yeah funny huh?

  • grunt

Who was the blonde girl getting her hair done in cabo. I just. Saw my future wife its a long shot but anyone know her.

  • Chub

What an amazing, passionate man. He totally changed the lives of these employees, He was also so customer orientated that he paid for the entire wedding bill for the mother who was having a problem with her bill. My hubby and I had tears running down our cheeks from the first employee to the last. How generous and unselfish of him. More company owners should be in touch with their employees and customers as Stephen is. God bless you – you definately have paid it forward to many deserving people.

    Mr. Cloobeck is a
shrewd businessman, who realized that by using Undercover Boss he can reach
millions of viewers for Diamond Resorts.
So shrewd, he chose to appear for a 2nd time on Undercover
Boss. What never comes out of this TV show
is what type of company he owns. Diamond
Resorts is a timeshare, yes timeshare.
We are indentured owners, who never, ever can terminate our contract
with Diamond. This contract is passed
onto our heirs. Unlike taxes when we
die, the bill from Diamond keeps on coming and coming. Where do you think Mr. Cloobeck got all the monies
he so freely gave away? From the
continuously increasing fees we owner must pay every year. Diamond has a deaf year to their owners. I suspect there are thousands of us who would
    happily terminate our contract. Diamond
knows that and continues to use emotions on programs such as Undercover Boss to
make viewers believe the company and CEO, Mr. Cloobeck, are the most caring person’s
one could wish to meet. Thus, why would
anyone not want to be part of his company? After all, look how generous he was! I know
once you become a timeshare owner with Diamond you will resent it the rest of
your life, and pass this unhappiness onto your heirs. Were you surprised there were only a few
employees in all the resorts Mr. Cloobeck visited that needed financial help. Could
any of this been a marketing staging technique to grab your emotions? Yes, I would be the first to thank him for paying
for the baby’s surgery. But come on, the
other extreme financial assistance was beyond belief. Think about your own workplace. Are their
only a few that need help or do you know many of your fellow employees who
could use help with a home or car repair.
Help paying utilities. Help buying food.
Mr. Cloobeck is an expert with the BLING and using the marketing
technique of emotion exploitation. All I
can say is being a Diamond owner for me is NOT a life of endless happiness in
vacations, but a life of total resentment.
If Mr. Cloobeck, CEO of Diamond Resorts, had any true care for his
owners, he would allow us to terminate our contacts. Diamond Resorts continues to focused on
snagging customers rather than how we, owners, feel about Diamond after that
    initial 1st encounter. Remember
the saying “Buyer Beware: No company
should ever indenture its owners to a life of resentment and unhappiness. Please Mr. Cloobeck let us have the ability
    to terminate our contracts. Mr.
Cloobeck, being the kind and caring businessman you are, if we are current on
our fees, please do this at a cost of less than $500.00 for all the title
    paperwork. Thank you.

Best yet I love you helping your employees that need help and that struggle financially..

I frequently watch Undercover Boss. However, I rarely find myself posting comments about any television shows. My mother is a Diamond Resort timeshare owner. As a Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher (Home Ec) with an Master’s in Administration and Supervision, it makes me pleased and proud knowing the investment you are making in your employees. I would have given anything to go to school to become a chef or an event planner. In the 90′s in rural West Virginia, we were treated like those were careers for people that weren’t college material.Since when is it there job to kill a dream? I have despised my guidance counselors since.

While I feel like I have made an impact in education, I feel like I have reached the fork in the road. I continue to pursue my education, this time with the degree/degrees I want, Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management. Where was the person like you supporting my dream?

Thank You for supporting education of an employee going to school for the hospitality industry and another for fashion. Yes, these can be real careers. While experience is valuable, education is also valuable. Thank you for supporting their dream.

I watch both shows with you Stephen J. Cloobeck CEO I wish at my last job he was like you you made me and my wife cry keep up the good work and keep people working.

  • Jackie245

I work for a boss for 13 years bent backwards for him and he never appreciated all the good things I did. I was loyal, honest, I did my job with love and passion and I enjoyed my job very much but he never took the time to say thank you for all I have done for him. You were gracious, kind, and an amazing boss, God will reward you for what you did.

  • nada

i don’t know why there would be so nice comments about this guy. He was the most obnoxious, condescending and arrogant douchebag on the show. Who the f thinks he cares about his employees – he could barely even pretend that he was on the show for anything except free advertising on tv. Total a-hole.
