He may not be a household name (yet) but when the sixth season of the HBO hit vampire drama True Blood returns to HBO, British actor Rob Kazinsky will, assuredly, be turning heads and getting a lot of attention.
According to a report over at TV Line, Kazinsky will join the cast as a series regular, playing Ben, a “highly charismatic faerie who takes a liking to Sookie” (series star Anna Paquin), who helps her and her brother Jason (Ryan Kwanten) look into the “mystery of their parents’ murders”.
Kazinsky has appeared in two episodes of ‘Brother & Sisters’ and one episode of the short-lived series ‘Law & Order: LA’, but is best known for his role in the U.K. series ‘EastEnders’. He also appeared in the box office film ‘Red Tails’ and will be part of the cast of the anticipated Guillermo del Toro film ‘Pacific Rim’.
While the sixth season of ‘True Blood’ has not been given an official air date by HBO yet it is slated to return in June 2013.
