Just as the third season of the fan-favorite Syfy series Haven is about halfway through its current season, good news has come down that the drama, loosely based on the Stephen King novella “The Colorado Kid”, has been given a fourth season order.
The news broke earlier today at Deadline that ‘Haven’ received a 13-episode order with a 2013 premiere. There will be a slight shifting of the guards behind the scenes with current consulting producer Gabrielle Stanton (whose credits include ‘Moonlight’, ‘Castle’ and ‘The Vampire Diaries’) stepping in to run the series along with executive producer Matt McGinnis.
‘Haven’ stars Emily Rose as FBI agent Audrey Parker who goes to Haven, Maine to investigate a murder, ending up staying in the town working for the local Sheriff’s office and finding out about “the troubles” that plague the little hamlet as well as mysteries about her own origin. The cast includes Eric Balfour (’24′) and Lucas Bryant (‘Queer as Folk’).
The next new episode of ‘Haven’, now in its third season, will actually air tonight, November 9 at 10/9c on Syfy.
