It should be said that this song was penned by the great Percy Mayfield, —poet laureate of the blues

The song was originally titled “memory pain ” when first recorded by its creator, the great Percy Mayfield!

Thanks! I’m rewatching this episode and am trying to place the voice of the blues singer during one of the scenes. John Lee Hooker most definitely!

This is such a good episode! Reese and Zoe play off each other so well and throwing Carter into the mix is also fun to watch.
