Just a few days ago the USA Network was close to sealing a deal for another season of the popular series Burn Notice as we reported here. And now it has been officially announced that the powerhouse spy series will be back for a 13-episode seventh season that will include the show’s 100th episode.
As shared by USA Network Co-Presidents Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel, “Burn Notice is like a fine wine that gets better with age, delivering high-octane action, gripping drama and nearly 7 million viewers for the mid-season finale. This veteran series is a proven staple of our portfolio”.
‘Burn Notice’ follows the formerly black-listed Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) who is currently working under-the-radar with the CIA on special projects. The members of Michael’s eclectic team are ex-IRA operative and girlfriend Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar), washed up former Navy Seal Sam (Bruce Campbell) and ex-counter-intelligence agent Jesse (Coby Bell) as well as Michael’s mother Madeline (Sharon Gless).
The second half of the show’s current season will be back on the USA Network tonight November 8 for a two-hour fall premiere at 9/8c.
