If you have been a fan of MTV’s scripted programming such as Teen Wolf, Awkward or The Inbetweeners, the channel’s new series Underemployed, which premieres tonight, might very well become a new addition to your TV watching schedule. Even more, it could transform into your obsession. I’ve seen only the first episode and I’m hooked. Just like Awkward and Teen Wolf before it, it only took a few minutes before I knew that I was in love.
Underemployed follows the lives of five friends a year after graduating from college as they try to find their path in the world.
TV Equals got a chance to talk to the cast and creator about the new series and get you the scoop on what you can expect this season.
We first caught up with the cast at the Awkward season 2 finale party on the red carpet. There we talked to Inbar Lavi (Raviva), Jared Kusnitz (Lou), Sarah Habel (Daphne) and Michelle Ang (Sofia). More recently, we got a chance to discuss the show in more details with Lavi and Kusnitz once more, as well as Habel, who was this time paired with fifth member of the group Diego Boneta (Miles), and creator/ executive producer Craig Wright.
Enjoy the video interviews below, as well as more photos, and don’t miss the premiere of Underemployed tonight at 10pm on MTV, you’ll love it!
