‘The Biggest Loser’ Season 14 Set For A January 2013 Premiere with Jillian Michaels Returning September 10, 2012 News, The Biggest Loser The NBC Network has announced the return date for their hit series The Biggest Loser. The show along with Jillian Michaels, who is set to reprise her role as a trainer, is slated for a Jan. 2013 premiere and with it comes a few changes to the show’s format. This time around ‘The Biggest Loser’ will set out to try and conquer the ever growing number of youths with obesity. Kids ranging in age from 13-17 years old will now take part in the competition with the adults. Together they will all be looking to make it to their goal weight, undergoing a healthy transformation. Speaking out, Michaels sounded keen on the idea of adding teens to the line-up. “As a former overweight teen, I know firsthand how dramatically weight issues can affect every aspect of a child’s life.” Adding, “Having recently become a mother of two, I am more passionate than ever about helping empower children and families with the information and resources they need to live a healthier life.” In season 14 contestants of the show will be divided into three teams under the watchful eyes of trainers Bob Harper, Jillian Michaels, and Dolvett Quince. From there every trainer and team will include at least one teen who will compete without the fear of elimination. The New Year will also bring several special celebrity guest stars with promises of “additional surprises that will be revealed closer to the premiere.” Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Google+ (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to email this to a friend (Opens in new window) Molynet The above article says Jillian is returning as “host.” Does that mean Allison Sweeney is out???? http://www.tvequals.com/ Sandrine Sahakians Hi Molynet, Sorry for the confusion, that was a mistake. Jillian is returning as a trainer not a host, so I’m guessing Allison will be back. It wouldn’t be The Biggest Loser without her, right? http://twitter.com/clstone85 Cara Stone The article says she’s returning as a trainer, not host. http://www.tvequals.com/ Sandrine Sahakians Hi Cara, The article was updated to fix the mistake. Johnj what about anna this, who are you? Mommafe63 My 8 year old son just asked me last week when the Biggest Loser show was coming back on he will be happy to know in January 2013. justicekerr1617 yay! love this show! jullin and Bob my biggest fans My name is Brita Johanna Segerhammar and it has been five year on weight Watchers since I have been holding in the 128 pound rage and now when do you start your show up again I have missed it a lot. mummy4granny9 hope it makes british tv…………love it! mickey Found tonights episode very disappointing!! I watch the program with my children each week. This season we really liked the concept of tackling childhood obesity with the three representatives. Until tonight, my child has type 1 diabetes and he did not get it from overeating or being overweight. We understand Lindsay’s fear and the goal to avoid becoming diabetic however, the issue of diabetes was explained inaccuratly. And to let Lindsay believe you can’t be a normal child with diabetes is awful. We want to sent our encouragment to Lindsay to keep on track but to the Biggest Loser Show itself we believe you didnt do children already living with diabetes any justice and are very disappointed.
