Necessary Roughness “All the King’s Horses” Review August 30, 2012 Necessary Roughness, Reviews Last year, Necessary Roughness went out with a bang. This year, it went out on a sweeter note. This season’s finale, “All the King’s Horses” saw a lot of plots threads come to a head, but perhaps none were as highly anticipated as the kiss between Dani and Nico. Not even Ray Jay getting busted for driving fifty pounds of pot around, knowing full well that his tail-light was broken. Criminally stupid, that one. So, after not running over the little girl and not killing himself to avoid her, TK got blackmailed into rehab on pain of being fired from the Hawks, but once he got there, he ran into a music exec buddy who proceeded to lead him down an even darker path. He stayed in rehab for two days before busting out on horseback and picking up his downward spiral right where he’d left off. Not a great plan as it forced Dani to turn her back on him and ended up with the music exec ODing in TK’s bathroom. Maybe now he’ll actually get help. Meanwhile, the Hawks were down an entire offensive line with TK and Razor gone and Matt had to prove he’s GM material by finding a replacement two days before the first game of the season. He managed to pull it off with help from the reporter who got sexually harrassed by TK, and sparks continued to fly between them. I’m fine with that. He can’t be with Dani and everyone deserves to be happy. In a big surprise, we said goodbye to Marshall Pittman and his nutty wire-tapping penchant after his plane went down in the Atlantic on route to the season opener. Nico was convinced he faked his death (as was I) but eventually his body washed ashore and Nico had to accept that his old frenemy was gone. He found comfort with Dani who had just lost her fishy friend, and probably would have been even worse off if she’d known that her son had just been busted for possession because he got into a fight with the friend who planted pot in her backyard. I say send Ray Jay to juvie; it might do him a world of good. So, we leave the crazy Hawks family with TK heading back to rehab, Ray Jay under arrest, Pittman dead, Matt happily assistant GMing, and Dani kissing Nico. But, as it turns out, we only have to wait until winter to find out what happens next. See you after Christmas! What did you think of the finale? Are you still squealing over Dani and Nico? And is that Daco or Nini? Let me know below!! Matt was great, but he was the fun she missed by having children young. Now it is time for her to be with an equal. Do you see that Pittman prbably killed himself and Nico couldn’t fix him. Remember he can’t fix people only things. Nicole Loved Danico kiss. http://profiles.yahoo.com/u/DYMQ74VK55RPNRARHMDV5UNFEE V2Blast I’m rooting for “Team Nobody”, with “Team Matt” a distant second, only because a romance with Dani can only serve to make Nico less awesome.
