Next week actor Chris Zylka will be seen in the much-anticipated reboot ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ on the big screen and then in the fall he will be part of the cast of the much-buzzed about second season of the FX thriller American Horror Story.
According to a report at Entertainment Weekly, Zylka was finally able share the casting news, “Ryan Murphy, thank God, let me finally announce [sic] that I will be a cast member on the second season…it is a thrill, an honor, a challenge. Honestly, it was as big a thrill to book that show…I cannot believe I will get to be in the same room as Jessica Lange, let alone work with her. I am a lucky, lucky guy”.
Details on what role he will be playing is being kept tightly under wraps, but given all the news that has broken over the last few months (including, but not limited to this and this), and the fact that Zylka shared that he would be working with Lange, he could very well be an employee or patient at the mental institution that will be the centerpiece of the second season.
FX has yet to announce the official return date for ‘American Horror Story’, but fans can expect it to be back sometime in October.
