‘Fringe’s’ Blair Brown to Appear on USA’s New Mini-Series ‘Political Animals’

Actress Blair Brown, who has been captivating viewers of the FOX sci-fi series ‘Fringe’ for the past four seasons, will be showing up in the much-buzzed about USA Network 6-part mini-series Political Animals from the creative minds of Greg Berlanti and Laurence Mark.

Brown will play, according to TV Line, Barbara Berg, who is the mother of Susan Berg (played by Carla Gugino), the “intrepid journalist who is out to get the scoop on First Lady turned Secretary of State Elaine Barrish” (played by Sigourney Weaver). She is expected to air in the fifth episode of the 6-part mini-series.

The rest of the cast of ‘Political Animals’ includes legendary actress Ellen Burstyn (playing Elaine’s mother), actors James Wolk (‘Lone Star’) and Sebastian Stan (‘Once Upon a Time’) as Elaine’s twin sons and actors Adrian Pasdar (‘Heroes’) who plays the President of the United States and Ciarán Hinds (‘Rome’) who plays Elaine’s ex-husband and the disgraced, former President of the United States.

Among Blair’s notable credits are the cult-classic series ‘The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd’ and the acclaimed film “Altered States’.

‘Political Animals’ is set to debut on the USA Network on Sunday, July 15 at 10/9c.
