Fae fans rejoice!! Syfy has renewed Lost Girl for a third season.
You read that right! The popular Canadian supernatural series ‘Lost Girl’ that stars Anna Silk as a succubus named Bo will return to American TV screens for another season next January. Right now the third season will consist of 13-episodes, but there is a possibility that number could be increased (especially given the popularity of the series on both sides of the border).
American fans have been enjoying all the Fae fun since the beginning of 2012, but the series has been on the air in Canada since the fall of 2010 when ‘Lost Girl’ debuted on the Showcase channel to our brethren to the North.
Also, according to a report at The Huffington Post, fans can expect a new face on the third season of Lost Girl: Rachel Skarsten (‘The Vow’ and ‘Flashpoint’). She will join the cast in the recurring role of Tasmin, a thrill-seeking Fae who will “ruffle many feathers”.
‘Lost Girl’ is currently airing episodes from its second season on Syfy on Monday nights at 10 PM, but starting on July 20 the show will move to its new night Fridays at 10/9c. Again, fans can anticipate the third season to air on Syfy starting in January 2013.
