Airdate Set for ‘Political Animals’ and Heroes Alum Adrian Pasdar Cast

The much-buzzed about six-episode mini-series Political Animals, from the USA Network, has been given an official date: Sunday, July 15

The series, which is set to star film legend Sigourney Weaver as a former first lady who becomes Secretary of State while dealing with personal and professional issues, comes from Greg Berlanti (the man behind shows like ‘Everwood’, ‘Dirty Sexy Money’ and ‘Brothers & Sisters’) and Warner Horizon.

Among the cast members are Ellen Burstyn, Carla Gugino, James Wolk, Sebastian Stan and Ciaran Hinds; and will now also include actor Adrian Pasdar (‘Heroes’ and ‘The Lying Game’), who will play the President who ultimately defeats Weaver’s character in a presidential race and then appoints her to
his cabinet.
