Battlestar Galactica Hunk Tahmoh Penikett to Appear on ‘Castle’

The folks over at TV Line made a lot of ‘Battlestar Galactica’ fans very happy yesterday by breaking the news that Canadian hunk Tahmoh Penikett, best known for his role of Karl ‘Helo’ Agathon on the reimagined ‘Battlestar Galactica’, will appear in a potentially recurring role on the hit ABC drama Castle.

While his role is being “shrouded in secrecy” he will appear in what is being described as the “emotional” May 7 finale of the series. His character will be named Cole Maddox and is said to be cold, calculating and has a military background; and he is “bad news”.

Since he’s days on BSG, Tahmoh appeared on the Joss Whedon-created FOX drama ‘Dollhouse’ and has made guest appearances in ‘Haven’, ‘The Killing’ and ‘Fairly Legal’.

‘Castle’, which is now in its fourth season, will air an all-new episode on ABC on Monday, April 16 at 10/9c.
