The TV Land Network has announced its decision to pick up a second season of its comedy series The Exes from scribe Mark Reiseman, a writer on the long-running series ‘Frasier’. TV Land’s president Larry W. Jones shared the good news surrounding ‘The Exes’ season two pick-up.
“The Exes has proven to be an excellent addition to our primetime line-up,” Jones stated. “This cast of seasoned comedy performers and a writing team led by Mark Riesman are what keep our viewers coming back week after week. We can’t wait to get started on the second season.”
This comes after the show managed to score 1.5 million viewers on average with its episodes filled with a hit cast line-up of well known stars, and funny storylines. ‘The Exes’ follows a divorce attorney by the name of Holly, who “introduces her newly-single client Stuart to his new roommates – ladies’ man Phil and homebody Haskell”, as well as a character named clingy Stuart.
The show stars actors Wayne Knight (Seinfeld), Donald Faison (Scrubs), Kelly Stables (Two and a Half Men), Kristen Johnston (Third Rock from the Sun), and David Allen Bosche (The Starter Wife). ‘The Exes’ season two will debut this coming June.
