The guest star list just keeps growing for the TNT legal drama Franklin & Bash. As we reported here
last week, actress Shiri Appleby will be guest starring in the series; now word has broken that actor Chris Klein will make a guest appearance in an episode.
Klein will appear as an old high school buddy of Peter Bash (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) who is described by Entertainment Weekly as “a charismatic politician who wants out of the race for governor because of a family scandal”.
Movie goers will recognize Klein from the ‘American Pie’ films as well as ‘Election’, ‘We Were Soldiers’ and ‘Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li’. He also appeared in the FX TV series ‘Wilfred’ and the short-lived series ‘Welcome to the Captain’.
Among the other guest stars expected for ‘Franklin & Bash’ include Cybill Shepherd, Beau Bridges, Sean Astin, Seth Green and Jane Seymour.
The TNT series will return for its second season sometime this summer.
