Just coming off the success of her online web series ‘Dating Rules from My Future Self’, actress Shiri Appleby isn’t wasting any time, as she is now filming a multi-episode arc on the TNT legal dramedy Franklin & Bash.
TV Line reports that Appleby will play a “smart and sassy” associate of an Infeld-Daniels senior partner who comes to town to investigate possible misconduct on the part of the attorneys. But, her character will “quickly realize she is in over her head when romantic feelings begin to develop between herself and Jared (Breckin Meyer)”.
Besides her recent online series, Appleby was the lead in the critically-acclaimed (and fan favorite) CW series ‘Life Unexpected’ as well as the cult-favorite series ‘Roswell’. But, she has also appeared in ‘ER’, the short-lived drama ‘Six Degrees’ and the box office films ‘Swimfan’ and ‘Charlie Wilson’s War’.
‘Franklin & Bash’ is expected to return to TNT for its second season on June 28.
