Lifetime has done it again. They have cancelled another freshman drama. The new cop drama Against the Wall has been cancelled according to a report from Deadline Hollywood as of Friday evening.
Earlier this fall the network cancelled their other freshman drama ‘The Protector’.
‘Against the Wall’ chronicled the life of Abby Kowalski (Austrailia actress Rachael Carpani), the youngest child of an all-cop family who made Detective, but the only available position was within Internal Affairs, which – of course – caused a great deal of tension within her family. The cast included well known actors Treat Williams and Kathy Baker as Abby’s parents.
The series premiered to 1.8 million viewers back at the end of July, holding steady with those ratings until the end of September when it started its gradual decline over the airing of its last six episodes, averaging about 1.5 million viewers for each of those final episodes.
