Actor Jim Beaver, who plays the popular character Bobby Singer on ‘Supernatural’, appeared in one episode of the FX series Justified last season and now the folks over at TV Line are confirming that the actor will be back on the show this coming third season.
Beaver mentioned on Twitter just the other day that he would be back on the show for at least one episode, but he also shared that it could be “as many as 7…maybe more”. He will reprise his role of Shelby, the manager of the mine where Boyd (Walt Goggins) worked for much of season 2.
Meanwhile, the fate of his ‘Supernatural’ character hangs in the balance and viewers won’t know what happens next until the show returns on Friday, January 6 at 9/8c on The CW.
‘Justified’ will be back on FX for its third season starting on January 17.
