The League “The Light of Genesis” Review

I’ll start my review as soon as I finish my Krav Maga lesson.

Continuing The League‘s recent run of guest stars, Eliza Dushku popped up this week as Kevin’s Krav Maga instructor. Why Kevin is taking Krav Maga is anyone’s guess, but The League wouldn’t want me to get tangled up with details like that. In any event, it turns out that Eliza has a crush on our boy Kevin and demonstrates through moves that would make your mother blush. I like a forward young lady as much as the next guy, but I have yet to have a woman let me grab her breasts under the assumption that they were being used as a legitimate teaching tool. Apparently I just haven’t lived long enough.

In other news, Pete finally got some extended face time as he and Ruxin threw down in a well done prank war. The prank war between our two enemy combatants led us to begin our worship service with The Light of Genesis. As it turns out, The Light of Genesis has an impressive array of fantasy football knowledge. I really hope this fantasy league is for money. Otherwise, joining a cult to beat your friends solely for the satisfaction of it seems like a little much. Fortunately, Ruxin eventually chose to honor his one true deity: Shiva.

Taco’s idea for NeckFlix (“It’s like NetFlix for neckties”) was in line with most of the preposterous things he has done of the show this year. There is a part of me that is starting to believe that Taco is the grown-up Zack Morris. The fact that the guys christened this scheme as Taco’s “best idea ever” just goes to show you how annoying these ideas have been this season.

Another episode of The League to put in your crazy file. How did you feel about it? Would you like it if Eliza Dushku was giving you Krav Maga instruction? Sound off in the comments below. For more TV Czar goodness, feel free to follow me on Twitter.
