What Happened To Angelea On ‘America’s Next Top Model: All Star’?

If you just finished watching the finale of America’s Next Top Model: All Star Cycle 17, you might be wondering, what the hell happened to disqualify Angelea?

Well, according to tons of answers on Yahoo! Answers, it seems that Angelea leaked who the top 3 were and even that she had won the show on her Facebook page (the info was subsequently removed), which disqualified her because of course her contract wouldn’t allow for any of that to be revealed.

And so the producers decided to reshoot the finale with Allison and Lisa and instead award Lisa as the winner of the cycle, which is why they were back in LA and not in Greece for the finale.

In addition, Zap2It received an official statement from the CW:

“After production wrapped on the current cycle of America’s Next Top Model, we learned information that made Angelea ineligible and she was subsequently disqualified from the competition. As a result, new scenes were filmed to address this for the audience during the finale.”

Not as revealing as it could have been, so I guess for now we’ll just have to take the people at their word. What do you think? It’s pretty insane stuff, isn’t it?!

Honestly…. I think she did win because otherwise who really cares if it leaked. Heck I didn’t see it. I believe they owe it to the fans to just tell the truth about what happened because any other competition in where the winner was disqualified a reason is given and runner-up is then chosen. It wasn’t really fair to Allison because she wasn’t chosen and they had no intention of choosing her.

i think top model made a mistake with both lisa and angelea the winner should had been allison she was more of a model than lisa who is old and loud. top model made a BIG mistake

So sad that Angelea did that because I was torn between her and Alison winning. Hope she gets a modeling contract somewhere, she is beautiful.

I was pulling for Angelea also. If she hadn’t won I wanted Lisa to win. At least they both had personalities.
I love Angelea, but Dominique was correct, she needs “reigning in.” Whether that means psychological help or not, she needs help.
She would have won the first challenge in Greece had it not been for her talking…way too much. She probably would have won this cycle if it wasn’t for her talking (Tweeting, Facebooking) too much.
It is a real shame.

I have been extremely disappointed with ‘ANTM’ for the last several season’s, and cannot for the life of me, figure out “why it is they choose the winner’s they do”? Think back to ‘poor Anne’, and then the red-head (who couldn’t even carry on a conversation), that beat out my ‘all-time favorite’-Laura. Just these two winners alone, are enough to make someone question the decision making of that team of freaky buffoons, better known as the ‘panel of judges’. Andre is glaringly biased against “anything or anyone ‘southern’”, and makes no effort to hide these biases. If these judges are so good at weeding through the girls from each season to find ‘a winner’, then why haven’t ‘any’ of the winners from ‘any’ of the season’s, gone on to have ‘real’ careers in modeling? Angelie’s attitude was pathetic, and her consistant harping on ‘her upbringing’ (and her dismissal of any other contestant’s difficult upbringing), only exacerbated her ‘poor attitude’. For goodness sake, little Laura was raised in a rural and economically disadvantaged home; you didn’t see her using this as a crutch, in fact, she made light of the fact that her grandmother made all her clothes. Lisa is a disaster, and I am depressed that she was actually chosen as this season’s ‘winner’-what a hideous role model she is! Allison was precious throughout the season, and handled herself very well- I can foresee her getting a contract with her ardent admirer, to be in one of his video’s. Based on the three ‘Covergirl photos’ though, Angelie’s photo was ‘by far’ the most stunningly beautiful however, everyone has a different perception of beauty, and we all have varying opinions and ‘favorites’-the world would be pretty boring if we all agreed with each other all of the time!

Angelea should NOT have made it that far at all. She was the exact opposite of what ANTM had always been about. she was there for reality TV conflict. She would not have won the 1st challenge in Crete. She did not impress her audience @ all. They just said that for the humor. The whole cycle was geared toward Lisa & against Allison. Any other season they would have tried helping her medically & Allison’s commercial had more personality than Lisa’s. & it seemed Lisa won for the same reasons she was eliminated in her season (tho not as annoying)… Honestly, I rooted for Allison, but honestly Laura should have won. She was the whole package.

Angelea was absolutely stunning! If she did leak the outcome of the season….she was just excited. I’m truly disappointed that she did not win. She is fabulous! Her look stunning! Her personality real! I am so proud of her. I truly feel she was robbed. She truly deserves a contract. She is definite model material!!!!!! Someone needs to hire her and fast!!!!!

The real loser was Laura. Because technically due to Angelea’s stupid mistake (if this is indeed what happened) Laura was robbed of the opportunity to be in the final 3 which she should have been. Eleanor maybe street smart be she has no common sense. I would have thought the majority of the population understood if you are a contestant you cannot leak anything. I do like lisa and feel she deserved the win. Whe is the complete package.

That was the first thing I though when I heard someone was disqualified. I personally rooted for Allison, seeing the contrast between her and Laura would have been stunning And I still to this day think Laura should have won her season.

I was a faithful supporter of America’s Next Top Model, but through the years, Its become about ratings and not about who is the best model. My favorite was Eva, Danni and Bree and for each one of those cycle, I predicted that each one of those young ladies would win, only one did not, but she deserved it. Go Bree. This All Star event was by far not what I expected. The final three, REALLY???? Well that was a joke.

I truly and in all honesty believe that this was by far the worst ANTM show!!!! I am enraged at the way the show was handled at the end. They wanted Angelic to appear to be needy and insecure and ghetto. We already know how T.V. works. But there is no denying that Angelic has swag and model ability all rolled up in one. To me she is a winner!!!! Hands downs thumbs up girl. You did your thing and America know you rock. Lisa—old and done. Allison is beautiful and she should have one the competition. Very sweet and meek personality. Lisa is a hater and I wouldn’t be surprised if she had something to do with the scandal. Lisa is whack and she wanted to Angelic to fall cause that is her biggest competition. .

Come on people, don’t put your whole life on facebook. Keep your money and personal life just that. Facebook is for fun and intertainment. Pick up the telephone and call someone. I thought she was the winner for sure. Alao, I rhink some people tell to much on facebook. People looose friends and in her case money. If she would have talk to someone on the telephone or face to face, she could have been warn!

This was a shame….shame in ANTM and Angelea….social network could have waited. I mean I was really rooting for her or Laura not Lisa by no means.. I hope Angelea took this as a lesson to be learned. Like keeping her mouth closed. I sure she knew the rules. What a dumb mistake. ANTM is losing my interest anyway. I heard Eva leeked that she won her season before she did but wasn’t disqualified. Maybe Angelea will write a book. Anyway good luck finding work.

Imagine, after all of those shoots in all places and countries and then in the last part they’re just gonna disqualify the person who needed it most and most deserving!? come on!! It’s a waste of time watching this season!!!!
