Actor Ryan Kwanten, who plays Jason Stackhouse on True Blood, will be making a guest appearance on the Valentine’s Day episode of the new hit FOX comedy NEW GIRL.
According to an exclusive from E! Online, the Aussie hunk will bespicing things up in the life of Jess (Zooey Deschanel), who will be celebrating her first Valentine’s Day – in six years – as a single lady.
The storyline will go along these lines: Jess decides to drag Schmidt (Max Greenfield) to a bar, using him as her wingman. There she meets Oliver (Kwanten), who she has absolutely nothing in common with, and what better way to celebrate the ‘day of love’ than with a meaningless one-night stand with him.
The Valentine’s Day episode of New Girl will, of course, air in February 2012. Meanwhile, the next new episode of the popular new comedy will air tomorrow night (Tuesday, December 6) at 9/8c.
