In an upcoming episode of CASTLE, the popular ABC series pays an unusually homage to the Kardashian family; well-intentioned or not.
According to Entertainment Weekly, actress Hilarie Burton, who not only played Peyton on the CW series One Tree Hill for six seasons but is also starring in the popular USA Network series White Collar, will play that celebutante.
The episode entitled “An Embarrassment of Bitches” is set to air sometime next year and will follow a story about Kay Cappuccio (Burton), a reality star with good looks, charisma, and a knockout bod. The tabloid darling has “achieved significant fame and fortune without possessing any discernible skill or talent and is famous mostly for being famous”.
But this character is more complex than some might think, as she both relishes the spotlight and “at the same time feels like a prisoner of her own celebrity lifestyle”.
Castle, now in its fourth season, airs on Monday nights on ABC at 10/9c.
