The spunky Jenna Elfman will be making her way to the second season of the Showtime series SHAMELESS. Confirmed by TV Guide, Elfman is set to take on the role of Jill, a character show runners have revealed little details about. Slated to show in the second season finale, Jill apparently has a “dangerous past and, according to the network, an awkward present. Details that Shameless‘ sophomore season will be a hot one in the city of Chicago was also shared.
Jenna Elfman is best known for her portrayal as one half of the entertaining duo Dharma & Greg. The former Two and a Half Men guest star has also been seen over the years in a number of appearances such as Matumbo Goldberg in the titular role, Accidentally on Purpose, Special Agent Oso, My Name Is Earl, Brothers & Sisters, Courting Alex, the late 90′s TV series Townies, Almost Perfect, Murder One, Roseanne, NYPD Blue, Pointman, and The George Carlin Show.
Shameless, that stars actors Emmy Rossum (A Will of Their Own, It Had To Be You), William H. Macy (ER, Fargo) and Ethan Cutkosky (Conviction, The Unborn), will air its new season on Showtime January 8th 2012 at 9pm est.
