Fox just ordered nine additional episodes for season 2 of the animated series BOB’S BURGERS from creator Loren Bouchard. The show follows the titular character Bob as he runs his burger shop with the help of his wife and three children.
Announcing the good news, Fox President of Entertainment Kevin Riley said “last season Bob’s Burgers infused our Sunday lineup with fresh new voice that was fully embraced by our animation domination fans. Loren Bouchard, Jim Dauterive and the team have done an amazing job with the show, and we’ve got one of the most talented and hilarious voice casts in the business, so we look forward to seeing what they cook up for the next nine episodes.”
The series features the voices of actor H. Jon Benjamin (Word Girl, Archer) as Bob, with the help of John Roberts (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon), Dan Mintz(John Benjamin Has a Van), Eugene Merman (Aqua Unit Patrol Squad One) actress Kristen Schaal (American Dad, Butter), David Herman (Futurama) and Andy Kindler (Wizards of Waverly Place). Both Loren Bouchard and Jim Dauterive serve as executive producers on the show.
The animated comedy and crazy characters of Bob’s Burgers return for their second season this Spring 2012 on the FOX.
