After her turn as the ill-fated Marian in the BBC drama Robin Hood, British actress Lucy Griffiths will be “fanging” it up on TRUE BLOOD, joining the season 5 cast as a series regular.
Griffiths will play Nora, the centuries-old vampire “sister” of Eric (Alexander Skarsgard). They were both progenies of Godric, but now she is working as a double agent within the Vampire Authority. According to TV Line, Nora is described as “intelligent, intimidating, cool under pressure and a very good liar”. Apparently she “loves Eric deeply, but has dedicated her life to a higher purpose”.
This role is Griffiths first big break in the states.
True Blood will be back on HBO for its fifth season sometime next summer.
