TV Line has dropped the good news that COUGAR TOWN will be welcoming several cast members from the hit series Scrubs. The news outlet reports that actor Zach Braff (Arrested Development, Clone High) and Robert Maschio (As The World Turns, Spin City), will be guest starring this season along with his former medical co-stars Sarah Chalke (Roseanne, Mad Love), Sam Lloyd (Medium, Numb3rs) and actor Ken Jenkins (All Souls, X-Files).
Of course Scrubs fans dying to see all of their old favorite stars from the quirky show will have to wait and see what’s in store for Braff and Maschio. Cougar Town heads are keeping the actors’ roles in the storyline a secret. When it comes to Chalke, the actress will play Bobby’s (Brian van Holt) girlfriend, while both Sam Lloyd and Ken Jenkins will show up to “reprise their roles from previous seasons as a ukulele-playing bum (named Ted!), and Jules’ dad, respectively.”
Cougar Town, that stars Courtney Cox (Friends), Christa Miller (Clone High), Busy Philipps (Dawson’s Creek), and comes from creators Kevin Biegel and Bill Lawrence, returns mid season 2012 on ABC.
