Comedy Central has ordered season 3 of the hit comedy series WORKAHOLICS. Making the announcement about the series that stars Blake Anderson, Adam Devine (Samantha Who?), Anders Holm (Traffic Light) and Kyle Newacheck (Wetwork), Kent Alterman (Strangers with Candy), the head of Comedy Central’s original programming and production, shared the good news. “It’s such an honor to be able to keep Workaholics going. We feel like the show is one, big public service announcement, teaching the youth of America how to engage with the workplace.”
While in a group statement, Anderson, Devine, Holm and Newacheck all added their happiness over the pick-up of season 3. “We’re beyond excited to get working on season three. Unless it’s gonna be hard work – we hate work.”
The successful series has managed to pull in an average of 2.1 million total viewers each week. Workaholics follows “three friends who work together as telemarketers from 9 to 5 and live together from 5 to 9. They do their jobs and sometimes they even do them well, but they show up late, leave drunk and always live for the day even if they don’t know what day it is.”
The hilarious series airs on Tuesdays at 10:30 pm est on the Comedy Central Network.
