AMC To Kick Off TALKING DEAD

The Walking Dead

The AMC Network will launch a new show entitled TALKING DEAD, following the success of their comic book adapted zombie series The Walking Dead. The new live show, that will be hosted by Chris Hardwick (Back at the Barnyard), will air directly after The Walking Dead, where fans will be able to tune into a recap session of the show, discuss details, and ask questions surrounding the latest episode with actors and producers.

Kicking off Sunday, October 16th directly after The Walking Dead, Chris Hardwick says he plans to “dissect the moves of Rick Grimes and the remaining survivors after every episode.” Something, he says, he “would be doing with my friends, so the fact that AMC is actually paying to do so is a bonus. This half-hour after-show gives fans the opportunity to nerd out about the story in a very public forum: what they like, what they don’t like, or what questions they may have. Additionally, it will better inform viewers on making intelligent decisions when faced with the zombie apocalypse, which will probably happen sooner or later.”

After its Oct. 16th debut, Talking Dead will be back on November 4th, slated to follow the encore presentation of The Walking Dead at 11pm est. The series is produced by Michael Davies.
