The good news has come down from Lifetime that the cabler has renewed their popular hit dramedy DROP DEAD DIVA for a 4th season.
The show tells the story of a vapid aspiring model Deb (played by actress Brooke D’Orsay from Royal Pains), killed in a car crash, who is brought back to life as an intelligent, full-figured lawyer Jane (played by Broadway actress Brooke Elliott), hoping to find the meaning of inner beauty and coming to accept her new life. The cast includes Margaret Cho, Jackson Hurst, Kate Levering, April Bowlby, Josh Stamberg and Ben Feldman.
The series has been a solid ratings performing for the network, averaging about 2.2 million viewers this current season.
The season finale of Drop Dead Diva will air this Sunday, September 25 at 9/8c.
