It looks like Chuck‘s “Captain Awesome” will be joining the cast of I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER. As reported by TV Line, Ryan McPartlin will guest star in the new Fox comedy which premieres on Wednesday November 30th at 9:30 EST.
McPartlin (who is returning for the fifth and final season of Chuck, don’t you worry!) will play a “hot dad” on the new series. His character quickly falls for Annie (played by Jaime Pressly) but it doesn’t look like love is in the air for these two just yet.
McPartlin’s character (whose name has not be revealed yet) gets a first hand look at the overprotective parenting Annie gives her daughter Sophie (Kristi Lauren), and the chemistry is quickly lost. McPartlin is set to first appear in the second episode of I Hate My Teenage Daughter.
In addition to this casting news, Keegan Allen from Pretty Little Liars’ will also be stopping in on Teenage Daughter. He will play a flirtatious frat boy that tries his moves on Annie’s best friend.
