He played bad boy Logan Echolls on Veronica Mars and he played Josef Kostan, the unforgettable vampire on Moonlight, now actor Jason Dohring will be joining the cast of the new CW series RINGER.
For those who may not be aware, Ringer stars Sarah Michelle Gellar in the dual role of twin sisters Bridget and Siobhan, who are both haunted by past regrets and lingering troubles that have gotten them both into hot water. Bridget is running from the law, because she is the key witness in a terrible murder but she does not want to testify; while Siobhan, who should have the perfect life since she’s married to a wealthy Manhattanite, has way too many secrets, leading to her mysterious disappearance at sea, allowing sister Bridget to take on her identity as a way to hide from everyone.
Dohring enters the picture as Mr. Carpenter, a high school teacher at the new school attended by Juliet (Zoey Deutsch), the step-daughter of Siobhan.
The series also stars Nestor Carbonell (Lost), Ioan Gruffudd (Fantastic Four) and Kristoffer Polaha (Life Unexpected).
