According to Maureen Ryan at AOL TV, Battlestar Galactica alum Jamie Bamber and Caprica alum John Pyper-Ferguson will be showing up on the small screen again in the not too distant future.
First, actor Jamie Bamber, who has played Lee Adama in Battlestar Galactica and Matt Devlin in Law & Order: UK, will be making a two-episode appearance on the new TNT series PERCEPTION while actor John Pyper-Ferguson, who had the recurring role of Tomas Vergis on the short-lived Caprica, will appear in the season finale of the new Syfy series ALPHAS.
On Perception, Bamber will play Michael Hathaway, a professor who entices Rachael Leigh Cook’s character, who is the FBI handler for Dr. Daniel Pierce (Eric McCormack) on Perception. Meanwhile on Alphas, Ferguson will play Stanton Parish, the man whose writings inspired the members of Red Flag, a dangerous organization of Alphas who don’t want to play ball with the authorities.
In the meantime, viewers can expect to see Bamber in an upcoming episode of CSI: Miami this fall with Ferguson appearing in the upcoming Syfy series Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome, which has yet to be given an official start date.
Perception will debut next summer on TNT while the next new episode of Alphas will air next Monday, August 30 at 10/9 c with the season finale set for September 26.
