Army Wives Star to Appear in TNT Telefilm GOOD MORNING, KILLER

Actress Catherine Bell, who plays fan favorite Denise Sherwood in the hugely popular military themed drama on Lifetime (and also starred in the long-running CBS series JAG) will star in the newly announced TNT telefilm called GOOD MORNING, KILLER according to TV Guide.

Based on an adaptation of the April Smith novel of the same name, Bell will portray Ana Gray, an FBI agent on the hunt for a kidnapper. This telefilm is one of six features that will be part of the new Tuesday Night Mystery franchise created by the cable network that will begin airing in November. It also appears that Good Morning, Killer could be a back-door pilot – as are some of the other movies in this new TNT franchise – leading to a possible new series.

For fans concerned about the fate of Bell’s character in Army Wives, her contract is up after the show’s sixth season, which is expected to return to Lifetime sometime next year. In the meantime, fans can see Bell return to her role of Cassandra Nightingale in the latest sequel to The Good Witch movies from the Hallmark Channel – “The Good Witch’s Family” – which will air in October.

If you are a fan Bell, are you excited to see her play this new role on TNT?
