IN PLAIN SIGHT “A Womb With A View” Season 4 Episode 12 – Fate has one heck of a sense of humor in this episode. Here Mary is trying to handle her own pregnancy and the very tough decision she’s made and what pops (excuse the pun) into her life? A witness who’s also pregnant. Nine months pregnant to be exact and Mary is even there for the birth.
Like I said, Fate is a bitch.
All along I’ve been thinking that Mary was going to go through with her decision without much second-guessing. But despite her protests to Marshall to the contrary, it appears that holding a newborn for 30 seconds *did * have an affect on her – enough of one that she cancelled her meeting with the family she was considering to adopt her baby.
As if that weren’t enough, Fate decides to throw another curve ball at Mary in the form of Mark showing up at her door. I can’t say that I got the best impression of him the last time we saw him, but this time he was downright sweet. The way he made Mary laugh made me start picturing them together and now I’m starting to think maybe she should keep the baby too. But we all know that things can change fast in TV land so I’m going to wait and see what happens in next week’s episode. Although, seeing as how it’s the finale, something tells me they may not resolve this issue but leave us in cliffhanger land. Sigh.

Having no doubt that Mary was going to hate Grace the moment I saw her.
Marshall snatching the pic of Grace’s..erm assets from Stan.
Marshall and Stan fighting over who was going to interview Grace.
Mary struggling with those maternity jeans. Classic.
Mary telling Brandi not to go “all Julie McCoy” on her.
Marshall’s fake laugh when Mary asked if he needed a chaperon. Har.
“You actually swallow these things?”
“Yeah, you wanna watch?”
Ha! Leave it to one pregnant lady to notice another one.
Agreeing with Mary that Marshall was SO blinded by boob.
“Of course you’re fine with that. It’s Christmas! It’s a girl on girl twist to your pregnancy fetish.”
Mary offering to take pictures of her scheduled tickle fight with Grace. Bwahahaa!
“You’re like a six foot something dork addition of ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’ – In Mary’s defense it is kinda crazy how much Marshall knows about all that stuff.
Totally agreeing with Brandi that Mark definitely deserves to know about the baby.
Marshall geeking out in the baby store. That was so adorable.
“Yeah I know he looks super old, but he’s not my dad.” – Oooh, burn!
Marshall telling Mary that as much as he was claiming to be there for Grace, the same applied to her, times ten. Awwww..so sweet!
Stan totally chickening out from telling Mary that Grace was in labor.
The doc telling Mary she didn’t think she could handle a “double header”. LOL.
Mary referring to the “labor-induced PTSD”.
Marhsall jumping over that fence in practically one leap.
Marhsall not taking any of Grace’s crap and demanding to know where the baby was. Man, I love it when he gets all badass.
The way that little baby looked up at Mary. Holy cow, I think I just felt my uterus skip a beat.
“Don’t even think about it pal, you’re barking up the wrong boob.”
Awkward or not, Mary telling Marshall and Stan she didn’t know how they walked around with “those things” was freaking hilarious.
Mark showing up and doing the whole Lloyd Dobler thing with the radio over his head.
Mark telling Mary that he would be there for her, whether she kept the baby or not, and telling her that she was beautiful.
LOL, I was so thinking the same thing about the song.
