The Community panel at Comic-Con 2011 included Donald Glover, Danny Pudi, Gillian Jacobs, Ken Jeong, Yvette Nicole Brown, Joel McHale, Jim Rash, Chevy Chase, executive producers Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Neil Goldman, Garrett Donovan, and creator and executive producer Dan Harmon

Here are some highlights from the panel:

- The Community monkey made a quick appearance.

- Unfortunately, Allison Brie didn’t make it to the panel this year, but she was available via text if someone had a question for her. How sweet!

- Executive producer Dan Harmon explained that they are going to address Pierce going dark this new season.

- Chevy Chase thought Pierce went too far this year.

- A question about the connection between Abed and Annie was responded to with silence.

- Fun Fact: They’re still not sure whether the paint was toxic for the paintball episode.

- Executive producer Dan Harmon said that there is a chance for every character to get together.

- Yvette Nicole Brown hopes that we find out more about Shirley as a student this season.

- “Last thing he should do is be the father of any fucking baby.” -Ken Jeong about his being glad that Chang is not the father of Shirley’s baby.

- We might be seeing an empowered Chang this season.

- Michael Kenneth Williams (Omar on The Wire) is joining the cast as a biology teacher in the new season.

- “I wanted to add a layer of intensity to Community.” -Dan Harmon on casting Michael Kenneth Williams. “Let’s add a little bit of The Wire to Community.”

- Troy and Abed move in together this new season.

- “I only answer questions about ‘The Wire’ now.” -Donald Glover joking after they caught Yvette Nicole Brown looking up Michael Kenneth Williams on imdb.

- “I want an Emmy. We’ll get one eventually.” -Dan Harmon

- They are planning a Halloween episode right now. As for another paintball episode, they will have to think of a good reason to have one.

- There is a four year arc for Jeff and they will complete that arc, but they need to find a way to keep the show going forever.

- There is an episode coming up with multiple timelines involved. “Fringe meets Lost meets Fletch.”
